I'm HIV+ & have also had a lot of problems with low WBC (mine usually hover around 2100). This has been the norm since I was diagnosed in 2001. My doctor recently started me on Neupogen injections, which I give myself. What a difference! I was doing them twice a week. Within a month, I shot up to 17,000! I just switched to once a week. I feel so much better, too! I've never gotten sick (even with t-cells dropping as low as 45--they typically hover around 180), but I just always felt "out of it" and extremely tired. I'm the mother of 4 children (ages 3-15) and work full time, so that was a huge issue.

You may want to ask your doctor if Neupogen would work for you.

Good luck!
