Addiction & Recovery board

I just got the generic form of Soma 2 days ago. Last night I took 2 of them before bed. I went to bed at 11pm, and I cant beleive it. I just woke up. This is the first time in years that I have gotten more than 3 hours sleep without waking up from back pain and spasams! I am so excited! I almost got 7 hours of sleep. I have never slept for more than 3 hours straight since the car wreck that injured me. They are expensive, especially thru an online Pharmacy, but worth every penny to me. I would highly reccomend them to anyone who has muscle spasams/sleeping problems. I think they will work great helping with withdrawals, as that is the original reason I got them, the restless arm/leg syndrome stuff. Just FYI

It is wonderful that you finally got some much needed sleep. When I read your post and seen the pain you are dealing with sounds like you needed it. I have no experience with Soma's but I am a recovering addict none the less. I do have several friends that are recovering that have first hand experience with soma. They say it is a wonder drug and also had a heck of a time getting off them. So what I am saying please be careful with them and don't let them take control of your life. I say this only out of concern and wish only the best quality of life for you. You take care now -- K?

Thanks for your feedback and concern. Unfourtantly, the pain I suffer, the withdrawals from running out of meds early because I am under medicated, and the lack of sleep that comes from both of these already control my life to an extent. The Soma has given me back my sleep, and I hope helps control or atleast releive the withdrawl symptoms when I run out of meds. I see a new PM Dr. tomorrow, and I hope he will take away the pain, thereby eliminating the withdrawals and lack of sleep. If I am lucky, I wont need the Soma after tomorrow. Thanks
