Is your wife on any meds? For example, Xanax or Ativan? It sounds like she is really 'keyed up' and needs something to relax her. I have experienced this 'jumpiness' but nothing shooting through my arms. And yes, I have been what seems like immobility. I am currently taking 37.5mg of Paxil Cr and Ativan as needed. Those meds help me. If your wife is not taking any meds, have her see a doctor.

She did talk to a physician about this. He wrote her out some nortryptaline. This had no affect. She has however stopped drinking coffee. My wife despises meds. She hates the long list of sided affects that come with each one. Have a great day .
