Discussions that mention paxil

I guess some group will have to file a class-action suite against the manufactures of Zoloft like they did with Paxil to get that non-habit forming claim off of the advertising? How many times must this be done, for each SSri out there it's not too easy to do...

Just know that any psychoactive, brain-altering substance will carry habit-forming potential no matter what you are sold, I mean told... ;)


Now that Paxil can't advertise that anymore, they are sneeking in the suggestion that withdrawals from Paxil may be return of original condition instead on one of their commercials....still in denial, aren't they? :nono:

My girlfriend and and co-worker, were both on Zoloft. This was how I first learned about it. My girlfriend just stopped as she didn't want to take medication, and co-worker no longer needed to take it. None of them had any side effects what so ever, and just Stopped

I think everyone's body is different. Now, I was on effexor and it was making me too hyper, but did seem to work to calm down my anxiety. I had ZERO side effects, and was fine while on it. I'm now taking Zoloft and Love it.

AGAIN, zero side effects! So I don't know. Maybe the dosage isn't right for some who are on these medications, but I haven't had any problems what so ever. No problems with Zoloft, Effexor, Xanax and I can't remember the other I took.

So, I don't know. I just think everyone's body is different and the dosage needs to be perfect. As for Paxil. My sister, and mother have been on this stuff for years. A few of the girls at the hospital as well I work in. As for a class action, especially the man who killed someone after two days on it, or so, is Ridiculous!
I haven't heard anyone that I know of have a problem, except for weight gain.
