Simple. You have to go to a doctor and not try to self diagnose. They can go through a few questions with you and run a few tests and determine the ultimate cause. It may seem like it's rediculous to go through so many tests, but seriously, these heart conditions aren't as common as you think and it's helpful for you to have them done so you can truly feel at ease.
The problem with having panic disorder is it also causes one to have a problem with wanting to self diagnose their condition. Thinking that something else is causing the problem, not anxiety.
I'm recovering from panic attacks, etc, so believe me, I DO know a little bit. :)
I agree that with my anxiety I tend to self diagnose before the doctor has even seen me.............when my vision blurred this summer I was rushed to the ER and kept saying I was scared I was having a stroke.......they kept telling me that I didn't have the symptoms of a stroke.........but for some reason that's what stuck in my head......ended up it was a migraine.........and since I'd never had one before I didn't know the visual stuff could be caused by it..........
Hey Blueeyeez..........When I first joined this forum I posted to you........had noticed your posts regarding Paxil.........wanted to pick your brain a bit, sorry to put the post to you, I was looking for some reassurance and you seemed pretty knowledgable about Paxil and the time frame for it to work...........
