Panic Disorders board

Quote from hry33:
this has happened to me and other panic attack sufferers

we have a big day out where we take more than usual meds, and travel out of our comfort zone, and do things that anxiety makes us usually avoid, all successfully, with no panic attacks, we do all the things we have been putting off

despite having achieved much, next day we are exhausted and depressed, and sometimes this lasts several days

very frustrating, especially since we know we did well and should be feeling confident and happy

can anyone relate to this or suggest why it happens

Once I have a busy day or a really good day, and then things calm down is when I notice I drop in my mood............I think it's because I had been so busy and then wham.........things slow down.........as an anxious person I go all of the time am always busy.........so when things calm, I don't know what to do with that................and sometimes mistake it as being down or depressed............It's as if my body doesn't know how to be calm..........

Hope that makes sense,

Kaytee

BTW I did check with the doc and now that I am down to 10mg of Paxil I can switch over to the Zoloft...........whooooooooo.........not sure Sickman is going to be happy with me..........but I've got to get the Paxil out of me........and the withdrawal from the taper was not going well...........Kaytee
