Ohh man I don't even want to know the answer to getting sick on your stomach after fusion surgery. That is too much to bear! Sneezing now is a nightmare, I can't imagine the other. I hope they give us phentermine or something!

SuzyQ, good luck on your surgery! I will be off of these boards for quite a while after my surgery on Monday as I will staying with my family and not have my PC handy for a week or so. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers though.

Carol, thank you for your wisdom, you always have so much good stuff to make us think.

Everyone else, please keep sharing the love it truly helps all of us!

Sincerely,
LJ
Dear Cancerhead,

Thank you for sharing your anxieties with me/us. I am sorry to hear that you are feeling worse after delaying the surgery. I have to tell you-all of you-that my anxiety this week is NOTHING compared to last week. Oh I still cried with Elliott Yamin Wednesday night but I am no longer nervous or crying alot. I have been extremely busy preparing for the surgery and finishing up my daughters last week of school-last week of elementary school at that, and I am sure that has helped. The week has flown by. I am actually ready for Monday to come. I am so sick and tired of this pain and the whining that comes with it. I'm not a weak person and I don't want those around me to think I am but when I am down like I am now, I will hold my head high and admit it (then probably cry behind their backs LOL). I don't know if my anxiety will get worse before Monday. I don't really have time for it to so I hope I won't. I pray that your anxiety will subside too and you will have a successful surgery.

Oh by the way all, the medicine for nausea is phenergan(sp?) not phentermine like I stated before. We don't want phentermine unless we want to lose weight while bouncing off the walls. Sorry for the oops!

Sincerely,
LJ

thanks for the kind thoughts. I too have kids... little ones. That is the main reason why I'm terrified. I know I need to take care of them and I wont be able to do a good job after the surgery for some time. Good luck to you and I'll be watching for your post surgery ****s. I wish you well.

Kindest regards,
CH
