It differs from company to company. I find the same thing at other stores with the fat reading 3 and protein 8. It is also a good source of Dietary Fiber, Protein, Thiamin, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus and Copper, and a very good source of Vitamin K, Folate and Manganese.

They are very good. You boil the pods in the unsalted or salted water for 10 minutes throw them in a pot of ice cold water to stop the heat from cooking them any more. Once cooled shell the beans by squeezing beans out of the pods. That's it. I put them on my salad. That's how I discoverd them. They were at the salad buffet at the Whole Food Market.
