Diet & Nutrition board

A great investment may be a blender and a juicer. I have smoothie for breakfast every morning which is not only healthy and nutritious but also tastes awesome! It might just be a start but a smoothie is something you may find pretty quick and easy to get the day under way. You can chuck anything in but I'll let ya know my recipe coz I can't start my day without it!!!

Grab a banana and some berries (I get frozen from the supermarket). Throw in any other fruit you like, pineapple, apricots, pears, etc....... yoghurt, honey and soy milk (or juice if you prefer, organic is best). I also add flaxseed oil which is rich in omega 3 essential fatty acids. Also a good source of vitamin B's, protein and zinc. If you don't mind a green smoothie, barley grass or spirulina are great sources of valuable vitamins and minerals like potassium, magnesium (which most people are deficient in), iron, calcium etc..... I also add fibre like pysillum husks and LSA (linseeds, sunflower seeds and almonds).

Sounds a little bit daunting but for a great taste and an awesome source of valuable vitamins and minerals that you seem not to be gettting throught diet alone, it's well worth the effort.

Could I suggest a visit to your local health store perhaps. they could certainly help you on your way with advice and non-judgement. Maybe a naturopath?

Good luck on your journey,
Yours in health
