High & Low Blood Pressure board

Hi Ellany, :)

Have you discussed this with your doctor? Do you take medication for your high blood pressure? Do you have isolated systolic hypertension? Other chronic conditions?

It is not very easy to regulate one's blood pressure. Our bodies have several regulatory systems in place. We have no physical control over those.
There are things we can do to help keep our blood pressure controlled. Most of us need some type of medication for lowering our blood pressure. Besides the antihypertensive drugs, limiting daily salt and alcohol intake, diet rich in fruits and veggies (potassium), being physically active (walking etc.), and not smoking helps. :)
