Urology board

Hi, it seems that everyone on this board is quite educated on this issues that have been presented. So, I am going to throw my issue into the mix.

A month ago it felt like I had the beginning of a UTI, I was busy with life and work so I pushed the issue into the back of my head. Almost three weeks ago I called my family Dr. and talked to his nurse and she prescribed Cipro 500mg over the phone. No urine analysis. That was on a Tuesday, by Friday night I was in the ER with typical UTI symptoms. Urgency, pain when urinating, subpubic pain. I was sent home with Bactrium and Pyridium. Sunday was the only day that I felt I was on the road to recovery. A week after calling my family Dr. I called again and talked to his nurse again with my concerns and she referred me, quite rudely, to a urologist. I went to the urologist this past Wed. and after him talking to me for about 5 minutes and a quick press on my stomach and back he sent me for a CT scan. He also stated that my urine was infection free when I was at the ER. The following day I called him back to let him know that my symptoms were getting worse. He told me that I have a 2mm stone. He didn't tell me where the stone is and he said that I should pass it without incident and he will talk more about it this upcoming week at my appointment.

Now, that I laid all that my issues are that I still have urgency to urinate. So bad at times I am going once an hour. I have mild burning while urniating. All I want to do is sleep. I don't know if this is related but I feel flushed at times. And last night for the first time I felt like I was going to throw up.

I hope someone out there can help because I am at my wit's end. Thank you all.

Brenda
