Discussions that mention requip

i've tried so many medications in the past six months or so. i was on neurontin for years and it was great but then all of a sudden it stopped working. since then, i've done mirapex, sinamet and requip. mirapex and requip made me sick. really sick. both on the third week of use. the sinamet just never worked.

i'm sick of going to the neurologist and trying all these new drugs. i'm almost to the point of giving up and just living with it.

my rls is different than what seems like most others. it doesn't affect my sleep at all and is worst during the day. it doesn't hinder anything, it's just annoying and embarrassing.

anyone else sick of the meds?

I can completly relate. I am experiencing the same thing about the RLS occurring mostly in the day time. I thought requip was helping, but seems to be not as effective. I too am sick of all the new meds. I've been on about half a dozen. Does your rls bother you mostly when lying down? Colder temps also bother me, like ac - which is no fun in arizona, where I am. The only thing I can tell you is that my neuro doctor mentioned that requip and mirapex are supposed to be the most effefctive - but it sounds like you're sickened by them. Is it nausea that occurs?
