Restless Leg Syndrome board

Thread,
I am a 52 yr.old male with RLS, which runs in the family as my sister and father suffered also. I also tried everything. However a Duke University Doctor started me on .25 mg. of requp which is a Parkinson's drug, but I now sleep like a baby and my legs do not hurt unless I do not take the drug. The Dr. started me at .25 and said to work up to what helps me. So I take .50 at noon and .75 at bed time and it works. He said also to take an iron pill once a day. I feel so good I have started running 5k races this summer, the first time in around 10 years. I think you need to give it a try. The requip has been a blessing to me. Good Luck....
