Hey,
Same problem here too, did a sleep study and it took me 5 hours to enter REM! The normal person takes about 90 minutes. I had no signs of restless leg syndrome, but my psychiatrist is starting me out on a medication for that to see if it will help  Its called Requip, have been on it for two weeks, and now I am waking up in the middle of the night and can't get back to sleep. I go back to the doc on nov. 9, will try something new then.

Hello Tonya
I also take the medication called, "Requip." I was prescribed this by my neurologist because of the body jerking and tremors that I have. I have been taking this med since July and it has helped me. But now I am wondering if this med could be the cause of waking multiple times during the night after reading your post. Are you sure that it is the Requip that makes you wake up throughout the night?
