Update: I recently had a sleep study because I'm so tired all the time and my doctor thinks my iron/ferritin level are not low enough to be causing this. They are trying to treat me for RLS (restless leg syndrome), I've never had this problem before. I know now that the low iron/ferritin can cause this restless leg problem. The sleep doc prefers that ferritin be at 30 and mine is way below that. They put me on requip which gave me JACKED up nightmares, so I'm not taking it. I did however start taking a iron and B12 supplement. I must say that I feel soooo much better and have more energy. I don't know if this will help anyone else. I will be getting my labs checked next week so I will let everyone know how that goes.
