Well if you don't want addictive meds, than you can't beat 200/ 400 MGs of Seroquel and 100 MGs of Trazodone. I don't care how bad an insomniac you are...you will be lights out in about one hour. And you better allow at least 8 hours for sleep. Other than that you can go with the benzo Halcion...but most doctors won't let you have it for more than a few days. Plus it has a very short half life.

Go with the Seroquel/Trazodone combo...you WILL sleep solid for 8 hours.

What he said.

I kind of freaked out when my Doc told me I could work up to 12 if needed, but mine are 50mg, so that makes sense. I've tried the Traz with no effect but not the combo.
