The only problem with these new meds, like Avinza, which is less likely to be abused is that they are ridicuously expensive. This means that most insurance companies either will not cover them at all, or cover them at the highest copay. I wish this was not the case but unfortunately it is. I have heard of several people that took Suboxone, which can not really be abused to get a high. However, there are very few doctors that will prescribe it. It is also another one that is expensive. And most of the time you have to be an addict in order to get it prescribed.
