Discussions that mention synthroid

can she not refer you (say, "sorry, but i'd really like a second opinion on this"), and if she's as good as you say, there should be no hard feelings ...

will she prescribe synthroid? if not, why not? could you post your numbers? there are many people on this site who are experienced in evaluating them (not me: i'm just good at TSH levels ... the range for TSH is .3 to 3.0, and if yours is anything approaching 3, or (god forbid) over ...) i can't tell you the web site i used, and would rather not anyway ... sorry 'bout that -- you're on your own there ...

RF: you may well be right ... i just know (dunno' where i read it) that presscription websites have ON HAND a doctor who will write an RX for you (of course, they don't know you or anything about you) -- wish i could recall where i read it -- on the web somewhere, perhaps regarding just this problem...
