Discussions that mention synthroid

Thanks Dea,
I am taking .75 generic synthroid and .25 cytomel. I was a little afraid of the TSH even getting lower. I feel pretty good, just a little tired, but that is from the heavy work load we have been having. My Free T4 has always been low so I don't know what should be done for that. The doctor said if I felt ok to stay on what I am on. The thing that scares me now is my cholesterol is high and I don't want to have any heart problems. Also the BUN/Creatintine ratio is high, which is kidney involved. Ugh, I just don't understand that stuff and I am trying to find out more. My husband couldn't believe my cholesterol was high, because I am not a big eater, nor I eat junk. Oh well, it is always something.
