Thyroid Disorders board

hi sparkie,

I've felt bad for as long as I can remember. Off and on. Some days I feel so good I almost forget there is anything wrong with me, then other days it hurts even having a blanket on me. I was starting to think it was all in my head... at least that is how the doctors made me feel. TSH tests *always* came back normal. Antibody tests also came back normal. It wasn't until I had my thyroid removed in March and the pathology report came back that I found out I had Hashi's. I felt relieved but at the same time disappointed in our health care system for treating me like I was more of a nuisance.

I was recently on 75 mg of synthroid and just got increased to 125 mg. I feel improvements but I still have my days when it hurts to move or even breathe.

Just hang in.... you are not alone. *hugs*
