I also have full body RSD... Mine started in my right hand after carpal tunnel surgery. I'm 18 month into my rsd, just went to Cleveland Ohio to a specialist and he also confirmed I have it full body.

They gave me a prescription for a drug called Terazosin... has anyone here taken this drug and thoughts on it. I'm affaid to try it... :confused: They also talk to me about the stimulator and sum kind of pump. I would appreciate any info on any of this stuff.

I was taking Aqua theraphy... helps some, I wear lidoderm patch which helps alot so far. This specialist I went too couldnt believe that the doctor's I have been seeing hasnt offered to do any nerve blocks or nothing. He still think's I'm in 1 stages.. close to second stage. But he wants me to have something soon.

Hi and welcome to the board. Sorry you are going through this...I would not wish RSD on my worst enemy. I have not taken Terazosin, but it sounds like it would be worth a try. It is an alpha-blocker, which means it stops certain signals the nervous system sends to the muscles, and could help you some with fewer side effects than the other medications. If you go down a few posts, you will see a post on Intrathecal Pumps and Spinal Cord Stimulators. It sounds like a pump would be better, since the SCS is usually used to target certain areas of the body. Also, nerve blocks to the most affected areas would probably be a good place to start at this point...you never know what they will do!! Let me know if you have any other questions.
