Discussions that mention timolol

From a recent review:

The beta-blockers propranolol, atenolol, metoprolol, nadolol and timolol have all been shown to be effective in migraine prophylaxis. Placebo controlled studies show that propranolol is significantly superior to placebo with 35 - 60% of patients receiving propranolol reporting ≥50% reduction in migraine attack frequency. However, propranolol has little effect on reducing the severity or duration of breakthrough attacks already in progress.
