Cancer: Bladder board

I had bladder cancer when i was only 16 yrs. old. The Drs. said i was the youngest person they had ever seen with this type of cancer, since it usually occurs in elderly people, or at least older than 16. Mine was only the size of a match head. I had to much protein in my urine which lead to more tests and thats how they found it. I had laser surgery, and checkups every 3 months at first and now down to once a yr. I am 33 yrs old now. They told me that bladder cancer almost always returns, but so far so good. We asked what could have caused my cancer and they told my family and I that possibly Tylenol or some sort of pesticide. I thought that was interesting because as a teenager i remember taking tylenol like candy, for every little pain i thought i had.
EEEKS  itsmegfa, I take alot of tylenol myself. That will have to change pronto. Thank you for sharing your story and its great to hear a happy ending. ;) Lorabelle, Think your 100% right on why my sister wont ask questions for fear of the answers. The doctor chose no treatment after her first surgery. Maybe now they will try the bcg treatments. Her surgery is at 1:00 tomorrow her time { west coast } will be 4:00 p.m. here. I will update and let you know how it goes. Thank you again for your support and kindness.Keeping you and dad in my daily thoughts. Baylee
