Discussions that mention tylenol

Children's Health board

My 4 yr old son has a problem where he goes to yawn, but has trouble getting it out. He'll do it repetitively, 5-6 times in a row, like he's having trouble getting air. He'll cry when it gets really bad. I noticed it worse with sickness. This does not occur all the time, just certain times of the year or like i said sickness. IT has happened for about 2 years off and on, and the pediatrician had brushed it off as a stage.
LAst year he had an incident where he was standing in the bathroom, turned blue, and went very pale and started losing consciousness. He snapped out of it about 30 sec. later.
Two days ago he complained of a headache and neckache, vomitted two times, and became very legthargic and laid on the bathroom floor. I gave him tylenol and he ate 2 pieces of toast and was fine 30 min later!
When I saw the pediatrician today, I told him I wanted to investigate this further, and he took me seriously. He wants to send him for a mri of his brain.
Has anyone else had a similar experience? Is this more of a pulmonary or heart problem? I'd appreciate any input
