Discussions that mention tylenol

Hey Slipperyslope-
Believe it or not, Naproxin/Naprocen is a great med for menstrual cramping. My daugther is plagued with bad cramping as I was until I had children and her doctor prescribed it for her. I was doubtful at first, although I didn't say anything to my daughter about it. She took it and it works wonders for her. Previously, another doctor prescribed her tylenol 3 and it didn't work as well.

Toradol is a good one too, but shouldn't be taken for longer than a 5 day period. Relafen is pretty good in the NSAID group as well. I'm not sure how they will sit with your stomach though.

Good luck in finding something that works for you. Many of us know what it's like to suffer with the horrid PMS cramps! I remember all too well and I was never able to take the things like Midol and Pamprin as they made me vomit every time!

Let us know what the Gyno says!
