Anyone know how long after a spinal fusion that it is safe to take anti-infams? Tylenol just doesn't do it for my headaches, but my doc said no NSAIDs. I guess it interferes with the fusion process. Anyone know when it is safe to take them again?

I had cervicle spine operation 8 yrs. ago. I was told at that time that I was to discontinue NSAIDS for at least 2 weeks prior to sx. . The sx. went well and was successful. My neurosurgeon released me after 1 year, stating that fusion was complete. I went to the Dr. yeasterday. I told him that I was using nsaids for a bad pain for a arm pain. I am 71 yrs. old. My GP stated "No, never use those meds for anything due to my age and the possibility of kidney damage caused by them." I hope this helps'
