Discussions that mention tylenol

Addiction & Recovery board

im searching for any proof i can find whether it be from your own experiences or actual medical studies that states that tylenol 3 does not produce an of the typical euphoric feelings hyrdocodone does.

can anyone help me please?

thanks so much!
As a person who was seriously adicted to hydrocodone, percocet and morphine, Tylenol 3 was my last resort. I never really got "high", but it did help me function and make me feel a bit more normal instead of going through serious withdrawls. If you take enough of it you'll make yourself sick to your stomach. It does contain codiene and enough codiene can make a 'less addicted' person feel a little bit high, but mostly just sleepy. Everyone is different though, this has just been my experience.
