Discussions that mention valium

I may be wrong, I but don't think they'd allow a CD player inside an MRI. The possibility of magnetic parts would be dangerous; it may not be enough to protect your ears (they usually supply earplugs because of the noise of the machine); the the magnetic field produced by the MRI itself might mess up the CD player in any event?

In any event, MRIs are entirely painless unless just being still on your back is painful. If you're claustrophobic, they'll usually give you some valium or the equivalent to stay mellow. Of course, then you need to have someone with you to drive, etc., afterward.

It's great that we have this technology. Relative to the other tests one can have, this one is no problemo for most people and often very useful.
