Back Problems board

I too am not a smoker and they used the BMP with my surgery (ALIF) its been 2 months on Aug 22nd and I am still in a great deal of pain. Doctor said I could have an infection or inflammation from the BMP. He wants me to have a catscan, having problems getting insurance to approve since this is a workman comp case. I am taking alot of meds, vicoden, oxycotton and valium but still have pain also going to aqua therapy. Yesterday my PT stretched me for the first time, just a little but boy did that hurt!

Good luck to you, I do think the BMP is better than using your own bone or a cadavor.
