I am having that too, only I've been tapering xanax. It's horrible, you can't drive as you feel uneasy.

If you are still around, are you tapering or have come off any drugs like Xanax, Valium or Klonopin? I have, Lori is doing it, and am trying to find out if this symptom is specific to benzo withdrawal or is part of generalized anxiety. If anyone else can help, please chime in. I HAVE to try and work like this, have no choice, but have lost some jobs.

My heart goes out to you. I grew up in a physically and psychologically abusive family, kept that suppressed, then had a horrifying drug overdose and two back to back highly stressful jobs. Xanax was prescribed and that made it all worse coming off. No anti-depressant ever worked for me but Paxil but then it started setting my mouth on fire (very painful) after taking doses. No one has ever heard of that side effect but quit the Paxil and it went away. All I can suggest is to try and relax, try not to worry (easier said than done) and do the best you can with what you have. Is all I do. Maybe one day I will again join the human race, who knows...
