Discussions that mention xanax

I just started Lexapro but I was wondering if I could still take Xanax once in awhile when I need it?

xanax and all other valium type meds are often taken with antidepressants and generally go well together, especially when starting the antidepressant to reduce any early side effects
also later if the antidepressant is working there may be breakthru anxiety or panic, which are reduced by benzos as needed

all of the above is of course subject to approval by doc or a pharmacist :rolleyes:
