Hello,

I have been on Cymbalta for about 5 weeks and I love it. I feel like I "always thought other people felt" except me. I still don't wake up and bounce out of bed carefree, but my general outlook on life and the way I deal with situations that arise has markedly improved. I still take the same small amount of xanax at night to help me have patience with my kids and to help sleep (per dr.'s authorization) but during the day I don't feel like I need something else to supplement my AD anymore. I was previously on Wellbutrin, which put my anxiety through the roof and I was also on Celexa, which looking back, really didn't work too well. With the Celexa, I was always hungry, and although I ate well, it was a challenge and I could never drop the last 30 lbs. from pregnancy. Wellbutrin made me not want to eat because I was so nervous all the time, but with the cymbalta, I really don't have urges to eat (except during pms time, but I hope that changes next month). I love this drug and I hope it never stops working for me. BTW, I am on 40 mg and I take it an hour before bedtime. The only bad side effect I have experienced is that I have a hard time really "waking up" for an hour or two after I get out of bed. Starbucks cures that most of the time, though!!

Cymbalta made me get cold chills while on the basketball court and made me feel like I was high and like I wasn't all there. The worst part: It let to my seizure I had after a week of taking it
