Doctor prescribed Xenical. It's a blue capsule. Says it blocks your body from using the fat you eat so your fat ends of in the toilet. Literally. Suppose to lose 4 lbs. a month. Dr said when I eat a fatty food... I will get cramps and go to toilet often. This is not the case. I'm not really on a diet, but I try to eat healthy, balanced meals. I gained 5 lbs. my first month on Xenical!
With chronic pain (fibromyalgia) makes it hard to be active and exercice. (It's hard to walk, hard to put on shoes. I need surgery to lose weight!
Hello ,

I was on xenical for a little while. I didnt have any luck with it either. My doc said that I may have greasy stool. Well that wasnt the whole of it. I didnt really eat much fatty food but I had grease pouring out of me:eek:. I was having some kind of reaction from it. It made me quite sick. I hope you have better time with it. Good Luck.

Take Care

i was on it for a year it worked wonders for me in which i lost 5 stones
70lbs. i could see it working the undigested fat coming out of me i was amazed..
I tried it and my doc told me to take some fiber (metamucil or some other brand) each night to help keep the stool together. That helped a lot and I never had any problems with it. I find that Xenical is a great way to START losing weight but eventually you find yourself cutting out the fat more and more in order to avoid problems with the Xenical. Before you know it, you're not eating as much fat and no longer need the Xenical. I didn't lose a lot while on Xenical but it did get me started with a low-fat diet and I've been able to stay there. I think I took the Xenical for about 2 weeks before I felt I no longer needed it. I don't think it would work well as a long-term solution.
