". Different people necessitate different types of treatment. Before I started Xolair, I averaged 9 upper respiratory infections a year. Quinolone antibiotics are the only thing left that works for me, other than IV antibiotics in the hospital. Admittedly quinolones should only be taken under certain conditions and admittedly a lot of folks can't tolerate them. That said, quinolones are very effective in the treatment of bacterial sinusitis. I've never had a problem with them and I'm quite sure Levaquin helped save my life last summer.
