Hey there,

I am into my 4th week of an increase of Zoloft from 100mg to 150mg. I am also approaching my 4th week of Buspar 10mg for Anxiety. (I quit my job in October)

I am thinking that the Zoloft increase has been too powerful in that my anxiety increases after a couple of weeks after the increase.

I have been taking the 150mg of Zoloft in the am along with my Buspar. Any suggestion in splitting up the dosage of Zoloft to help or any comments?

I do know that the Bupar takes approx. 2 weeks to feel a difference and I currently take Restoril to assist me.

By the way, today I will start volunteering at my local foodbank (I had been doing so once a month while working at my prior company) to stay busy and build more self-worth until I find the right job for me.

Thanks,
Zoloftman
So your anxiety has been getting worse while you have been on the zoloft? What does your doctor say about it? I know that I had that same problem when I was on zoloft (among other side effects) and I ended up goign off of it because it wouldn't go away... Now I am on a different med (celexa). You may want to talk to your doctor about trying something else. There are a lot of different meds out there and each one is different for everyone...
Everytime my Dr increased or decreased the dosage of zoloft my anxiety went through the roof for weeks. It does settle down. My zoloft dosage ranged from a low of 5 mg's to a high of about 35 mg's. Tell your dr about the anxiety and he may need to lower you.
