Depression board

Hey there,

I was out and about yesterday looking for a job, getting my car service and such.

Well, this morning, I have not energy. This was my nutrient for yesterday, not my normal:

Breakfast: Oatmeal in the a.m. (took 100mg of
Zoloft and 5mg of buspar) with my normal juice that contained fish oil)

Later lunch than normal: Salad at Ruby Tuesday's along with a bowl of soup. Took 5mg of Buspar.

Snack in the afternoon: 16 ounce sprite with a bag of cashews while out and about.

Dinner 6pm: Out and about so grabbed a burger from Mc'Donald and fries. I had to eat something....

I was still hungry later on and eat some crackers, along with my second dosage of fish oil.

These are not my normal eatings.

Does anyone think that I did not receive the proper nutrition yesterday, thus, the lack of energy this morning. Or have any comments?

Zoloft, 5mg of Buspar

Thanks,
Zoloftman

Doesn't sound too bad with the oatmeal, juice, cashews and salad. Mcdonalds could be the reason though you have no energy today. Every time I eat a burger and fries there I feel horrible from it. It always zaps me of energy. Maybe a turkey sandwich with tomato and lettuce would have been a better choice. Bring something like that with you. Or granola bars also are a good energy food. Going to Subway would also have been a better more nutritious choice. So all in all your choices were not that bad except for the Mcdonalds. Just do not eat at a place like that every day or you will never have any energy.

Since I need to take care of my body better, I stopped by GNC today and picked up a multi-vitamin. The pills are huge but should provide me with a lot of the nutrients that I have been missing most of my life; hence, I have never taken a vitamin supplement. I also picked up some nutri-grain bars today.

Definately a multivitamin is a good idea. Especially if you don't always have time to eat the most nutritious foods. Just remember a multivitamin has the basic nutrients in it and will keep you from having any major deficiencies but there is no substitute for healthy food. Your body absorbs more nutrients from healthy food then it does a multivitamin. Also they are always finding new nutrients in fruits and veggies that they did not know existed before. So a multivitamin along with a healthy diet is the best. I just say this because some people think that if they take a multivitamin they can just live on junk food and rely on the vitamin for there nutrients but this is just not true. You don't sound like that but I just wanted to mention it.
