Epilepsy board

As far as meds, my husband(24) has been through so many. He's had epilepsy since the age of 6. Currently, we seem to have them under control. He'll have one every couple of months. Usually it's because of the weather or because he forgot to take some so his levels are low. Right now he is on Carbatrol and Zonegran. The combination of those 2 have been great. He used to be on carbamezapine but that didn't work as great as Carbatrol. The Carbatrol releases it slowing so that it lasts in your system instead of just working for a bit. Hope this helps. Oh yeah, my husband has had both petit-mal and grandmal seizures.
