: Though I am no stranger to the world of leg pain, I am not familiar with the difference between a bunion and a nerve problem and gout, etc... Breif history: Sprained my ankle about 10 years ago at age 18, have sprained (and broken once) the same ankle since many times. I wear a brace often and do some exercises, but i wouldn't be surprised if I've compensated for the occasional pain by walking funny. Which leads me to a gradual pain in my big toe. I guess it is a bunion, though it is more of a nerve-like pain that hurts a lot to touch when aggravated (though a "good" pain -- I like to massage it lightly. Call me sado-masochistic)... I can also "crack" the joint at will by flexing the toe upwards -- sometimes when it is really stiff I crack it every step I take to relieve the pain. I cannot bend it all the way forwward -- that feels like it would snap it right off. The pain has been there for years now, though it is gradually getting worse. There isn't THAT much of a noticeable angle to the bone, though a slight one is present. It gets a little red when aggravated. I plan on seeing a podiatrist soon, but thought I'd see if anyone has had similar experience or knows what the hell I am talking about. Thanks to those who read this entire message! Email me or reply.

If you are on high blood pressure pills with
a diaretic you probably have gout and need
to see a Dr for medicine to cure it
