I am asking on behave of my friend who has no access to the internet. She is 35 and suffering sever chronic pelvic pain following PID, a laporoscopy, hysterectomy and diagnosis of adhesions. On top of all this she is also 100% urinary incontinent following the birth of her third child. She has been told a bladder repair may help but it is unlikely, she is reluctant to have any further surgery (she had an extreme reaction to her last aesthetic). The psychological effect this all has had on her, her family and her life is immeasurable. To make matters worse she is no longer able to work and had applied for Ill health retirement benefits on the grounds of her medical conditions, she was turned down, even though she has medical proof of all the above they require proof that she is permanently incapable of efficiently carrying out the normal duties of her employment until the age of 60. What I am asking is there anyone who can tell me where I can find documented cases of PID, CPP & sever stress incontinence being long term or permanent. This needs to be medical proof. I would appreciate any help what so ever, we only have a short time in which to appeal this decision so I am asking if you can email me personally at [email protected] as I have put this question to a lot of different bulletins I cannot check them as often as I would wish and still get the appeal ready in time. I can only thank you from the bottom of my heart in advance of any help you can give me. Wendy
