: Hello, I'm 18 years old and have been getting migraines now and then since 6th grade. They've been increasing in severity too. Well I just wanted to see if anyone else can relate to my particular Migraine case, I'm sure plenty of you can. Suddenly I can't feel my hand or it just gets so numb and goes all the way down my arm, always left arm. One time I just sat and felt it travel down the length of my arm. Also I've felt numbing, exactly like novacain (sp?) in my lips and even tongue and half my face, and I get slurred speech. This is on top of the nausiating vision syptoms and excrutiating headache :P Well I just want to know if this is very common, or should I see a neuro? I am able to really tackle my migraine with Excedrin migraine I'm so relieved that it works so well for me, I don't know why I was suffering with these headaches for so long without taking any medicine. I would just be bed ridden for how ever long it would take to lift. But I just have no clue if this is actually more severe than i'm making it out to be and if I should see a doctor. Ok I have to stop, just talking about this makes me feel sick to my stomach, picturing what happens to me, wow I feel sick. Thank you for reading
Hey Alli,I know what you're going through. I have been diagnosed with complicated migranes. I've been suffering for 3yrs and I still haven't found a medicine that works. When I get a migrane,I lose all feeling in my right side, my speech is slurred, I get nauseous, My vision blurs, and to top it all off I drool uncontrollably because I can't swallow. I have at least 1 migrane a month. I feel so helpless because when this happens I have to depend on someone else to take care of me and my baby.good luck
