Those that get blocked/deleted are for offenses such as repeatedly insulting anyone, threatening, continual arguing, obsenities, messages about illegal matters, off-subject messages and advertising. Such posters will not be tolerated, no matter how nice they might seem otherwise, or seem helpful on other boards.

There are no specific board authorities because this is a peer support message site, and is not for professional advice. Suggestions of what works for you are very welcome.

You are right, that each individual should always be sure of advice they plan to try, and to heed their own health care professionals. Internet "experts", who have no proven credentials should always be taken with great caution. But certainly, no one is barred over simply sharing their health care opinions.

: You may be right. I offered to be a moderator on another thread and they asked my reason (s) for offering. I told them the truth. I told them that the board desperately needed someone with some knowledge of the subject and that this was painfull obvious. I didn't even get an answer from them, LOL. I just thought I would try to find time to help. The thread is old enough to be doing well, but it isn't. BUT, to offer some defense for the managers of this site, it might be well to remember that we shouldn't say what will help someone, in a definite manner, as if we are a professional and have the last word and knowledge on a medicine. That may be even be to invite lawsuit, even to the management, if they were to leave the comment on the board. We would be more appropriate to mention that a particular med was good for us, as an individual, or to a personal friend, etc., and to relate how it benefited us or the friend. It is also well to recommend that a person clear all meds, even over the counter or bought in a so-called health food store, with their own doctor before they use it---dale
