: Serge--Your Dr. can tell you if the chances of you having favorable results with the treatment are good. There are a number of factors that indicate a good chance of success including length of time you have had the virus and the extent of current liver damage, to name a few. Explore this with your Doctor and follow his/her recomendation. Taking the treatment means a commitment to cooperate with the program. You must get plenty of rest and eat appropriately for liver health. You must prepare for the fact that you will not feel well much of the time. Try to arrange your life so that you can minimize stress. Best of luck to you!

A friend contract the disease 19 years ago from a blood transfusion at Davis hospital in Sacramento , Ca. She is now at stage four and will need a liver transplant soon.. She did not know she had it until three years ago. What is her leagal recourse?
