Having been on bp medicine for over 30 years I have come to realize certain indisputable facts:
First, no doctor is able to accurately assess each and every individual and prescribe the exact medication protocol that controls bp over any period of time.
All of us are different in our requirements and they are constantly changing. I have been on over 60 different medications and am still working on the ideal combination.

I have found that skin patches such as clonidine which last for a week are presently working. Even so I am taking .10 mg in pill form to reinforce periods during the day when blood pressure tends to peak.

Do not try any of these suggestions without a doctors approval. You should inquire as to whether you are using diuretics, beta blockers, ace inhibitors, calcium channel blockers or alpha agonists as each one of these drugs elicit different reactions from the circulatory system, heart rate, fluid retention and sympathetic centers in the brain stem. They may be used alone or in conjuction with one or two other drugs. Remember all of these drugs have side effects and will vary from one individual to another.
Warning !! These drugs are extremely potent and their exists the danger of lethal combinations and the possibility of accidently overdosing.

If any one has a specific problem that the doctors don't seem to be resolving feel free to contact me. I have had just about every blood pressure problem and crise you can imagine.
