Hi, I read in a magazine, an article by a cardiologist who said bananas could possibly replace med's. in some people as potassium can lower blood pressure and offsets the sodium in salt intake. I eat 3 bananas everyday in a milkshake form, peel the bananas, and freeze them, then pop 3 bananas in a blender with skim milk and you wouldn't believe how great it tastes-it tastes like iced cream and could lower your blood pressure if done on a regular basis.
