: I have been taking lotrel for almost a year, but I do not know if I am taking it at the right time, I work third shift which means I am up all night 6 days a week, and sleep during the day. I am taking my pill at 2p.m. daily and sometimes 3 or 4 whenever I wake up.

I was just put on Lotrel today. Tried AVAPRO, but i had Beating chest & unable to breathe. Changed after 7 days of this. Then went ot Norvasc. had bloatness in stomache.. So now, Doc prescribed LOTREL. Said it was 2 meds in one (one being Norvasc).. Said it would relieve the bloatness.
: I can take my blood pressure at 3 in the morning and it is 120 to 110 over 65 to 70, and then about 2 hours after i take it in the day at 2p. it can be 140 over 80. when is the best time for me to take this it is currently 2.5/10 mg what ever that means.
Anyway, Doc told me that Lotrel works 24hours a day, so said it doesn't matter what time of the day to take it.....
