I went to the doctor's the other day. My blood pressure was 150 over 80 (borderline). My doctor said if the condition does not improve in 3 months, she wants me to start taking medication. She told me this is because I am 27 years old, thin, and exercise. (she thinks because I am doing everything right already - my blood pressure may not go down - that's a little negative on her part)!! Quite honestly, I do not want to get on medication, as I want to treat this condition naturally by supplements, relaxation techniques, and low fat diet. Should I get a second opinion? My grandfather had very high blood pressure. He was a smoker and had polio. He went on high blood pressure medication and passed away after he got off the medication. I guess I am leary of taking medication. Any suggestions or alternative medicines???? I am currently taking Vitamin E, 5 MG potassium, 1000 MG vitamin C. Should I start taking Magnesium, Omega 3, and Vitamin B6 as well?
