Last month I went to the doctor because I was having a bout with insomnia. When he took my bp it was 156 over 108. He told me he wanted to me to start excercizing and change my diet. I did just that. I bought a home monitoring kit and it shows my bp in the evenings can go as low as 106/77. In the mornings it ususally ranges 126/88. Now I am a courier and drive 300 miles a day in a 5 hr period with usually no lunch break.SO when I get home my bp is like 144/99. SO its pretty high.
At 5ft5 and 150lbs Im not really obese. But I am making some lifestyle changes by limiting salt in my diet and excercising more. But the second visit to the doctor showed 140/96. Im going to the doctor today and Im sure he`s going to try to put me on meds. But what Ill try to make him aware is that my bp isnt always high but it fluctuates.I am a nervous person by nature. So, in order to be diagnosed with hbp isnt your bp supposed to be constantly elevated?

Please enlighten me on this matter
Brad
