this. My e-mail is [email protected]

Tammy: : : Oh Beth, I am so Obsessed with my BP. I am constantly checking it. If my face gets red or
: : I get chest pains, I take it. The more I take it the Higher it would go and then I would freak out and think
: : I am having a heart attack. I am forever taking it. I have a manuel one and an electric on and I am
: : forever doing it. It is like a complusive disorder. I also have panic attacks and think I am going to drop dead
: : of a heart attack or a stroke at any minute. It is horrible.

: : : Can people become obsessed about their BP? I know that it changes all the time, but since I had (what the Dr.s call) a vagus reaction 1 yr ago, (that is where your bp drops) and they said that I was a healthy young girl, but now anytime I feel a certain way I will take it with my at home monitor. Alot of times it might not read it and I have to take it several times before I get a readding, when it does this it scares me and I think it is too high, or too low......when I took it it was 109/91 p. was like 109 too high.....normmally mine is 110/70. I wonder if I work myself up and this causes the bp to go up? I sometimes wish I would throw the thing away , because it is in my head that I am worried that my bp will drop again , like it did 1 yr ago. ANybody?

: Tammy ~~ I wonder why?? Are you under a stressful time? Maybe we can help each other?
