I have tried using the ovulation predictor kits, but I have a hard time reading the results. They dont seem to give me a clear yes or no answer, but rather I have to interpret the shade of color for the 2 lines. I have not been to a doctor in several years, he has retired & I haven't picked a new one yet. As for as the BBT, I havent gotten 5 straight hours of sleep for years, I'm lucky to get 1 or 2. Thanks for your reply to my questions.

: What wonderful questions! With the bbt I would say no, it won't be accurate with you waking up in the middle of the night. You need at least 5 undisturbed hours of sleep before bbting.

: With the cervical mucus, If you check your mucus and see one string of stretchy mucus that is probably cervical mucus, if it stretches into 2 or three strands it's semen. Also semen is more cloudy then cervical mucus.

: The most accurate method to detect ovulation of course would be the Ovulation predictor kits you buy in the store near the pregnancy tests. They come with 5 sticks and as soon as you see a positive you know you'll ovulate within 12-48 hours and you should start having intercourse.

: Have you seen a doctor? Considering you had problems conceiving the first time I would if I were you. They can run some basic tests to make sure everythings okay, get your husbands sperm count done ect.

: Good luck!
