I like psyllium husk powder.I know it sounds crazy to take something that say "natrual fiber laxative" on the bottle but a year or so ago it said " Bowel Regulator" but it works.It is a water-soluble bulk forming stool agent.I assure you it will not cause you to have diarrhea but it may cause you to have some gas and this will go away in a few days. It is safe to take daily.All fiber is not the same-- some is not water soluble. You should start off with a teaspoon --taken several hours before going to bed and increase the dose until you get a gentle relatively soft stool.
